Four sound layers
Stack up to four sounds per preset. Blend an organ into a pad into keys, then shape the whole stack with one set of macros.
Sampler + wavetable synth
Every layer plays samples and a three-oscillator wavetable synth side by side, each with its own amp and filter envelopes.
One Shot kit sampler
A full drum and phrase sampler built in. Load kits, trim, loop, pitch-track, and trigger 808s and one shots next to your melodic layers.
FX rack
EQ with drive, chorus, ping-pong delay with tempo sync, and reverb, running serial or parallel, with per-module bypass.
Mod matrix
Two LFOs and eight routes. Send anything anywhere: filter cutoff, layer volume, pan, FX sends, positive or negative amounts.
One-click randomizer
RND rolls the engine into new territory, INIT resets it, undo and redo cover you. Sound design without menu-diving.
Living artwork
Every library takes over the interface
Load Helios and the plugin burns. Load Hypnos and you're in the city. Each library ships with full-bleed artwork, so you always know what you're playing.
Layer editor
Every layer is its own instrument
Open a layer and you get the full picture: the waveform, a searchable sound browser with over a thousand sources, three wavetable oscillators you can run on top of the sample, and dedicated amp and filter ADSRs. Build hybrid patches without leaving the plugin.
Preset browser
All your libraries, one browser
Filter by library, category, or rating. Search across everything you own, from Factory Library to Helios to your own saved presets, and audition without interrupting playback. Your user presets live right next to the stock content.
One Shot sampler
Drums and phrases, same instrument
The One Shot page is a complete kit sampler: browse 150 stock samples by category, save and load kits, and shape each slot with its own envelope, pitch tracking, trigger mode, and loop points with crossfade.
FX rack
A finished sound, in the box
EQ with low, mid, high bands plus mid/side control and drive. Chorus, ping-pong delay with tempo sync and pitch drift, and a full reverb. Run the rack serial or parallel, lock it while you flip presets, or bypass it all with one click.
Mod matrix
Movement without automation lanes
Two free-running LFOs and eight bipolar routes. Push LFO 1 into filter cutoff at -61%, ride layer volumes, wobble pan. Mod Lock keeps your routing while you browse sounds.

Bring your third-party sounds with you
Sampler 2 isn't locked to our catalog. Third-party libraries and sounds can be imported and played like any stock library, with their own artwork, presets, and categories. Scorch, Sky Keys, and Mickelburgh Piano below are third-party products made and sold by their own creators. They are not Busy Works Beats products and are not included with Sampler 2. They're shown here to demonstrate what the importer can do.
